John Faier travels worldwide for clients on a variety of challenging projects. For the Chicago Art Institute he photographed the museum's new Modern Wing, designed by Renzo Piano, for marketing and membership materials. In 2010 he presented a solo photography exhibition called Photographs: Queen of Heaven, at the Chicago Cultural Center.
His editorial work has been featured in publications such as Architectural Record, PDN, and the Chicago Tribune. He has completed commissions for numerous architects and interior designers, artists, and cultural institutions. His photographs are used in books, advertising campaigns, websites, and annual reports for clients such as Equity Office, The Chicago Botanic Garden, Jenny Holzer Studio, The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, and Leo Burnett.
While John is experienced with large format film he is a pioneer and innovator in digital image capture, creating new methods and workflows to better serve his clients' needs. His studio not only offers location photography, but a comprehensive set of full-service digital imaging solutions to include: color management , cusom ICC profile creation, fine art print production, and photo illustration and advanced editing.
